Your body your choice. The bigger question is: after decades of progress, why is sexualizing women still so normalized?It’s incredible how many people think this conversation is about Sydney, when the bigger picture is right here….We’re in 2026…the internet has existed for decades. Culture has evolved and our understanding of representation has evolved. Context, history and impact matter. Something being normalized 20 or 30 years ago isn’t an argument for continuing to normalize it today.And in this case, we’re not even selling fashion or beauty. We’re selling gambling…an industry associated with addiction and devastating consequences for families and peoples life’s while using female sexuality to make it more desirable.And somehow the response is: “Sex sells. It worked. Everyone’s talking about it.”That’s the part that should make us uncomfortable…. If views and controversy are all it takes to call something brilliant or clever marketing, the bar is painfully low!!!Marketing doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It reflects our values, shapes culture and influences what the next generation learns to see as normal.Progress is women having complete freedom over their bodies while building a world that no longer sees those bodies as one of the easiest things to monetize.Because if we’ve evolved this much, but “sexualize a woman to get men’s attention” is still considered clever marketing… maybe we’ve evolved our technology faster than we’ve evolved our humanity. ••• #sydneysweeney #womeninsports #trending #marketing

Sin distracciones. Solo un escenario, un piano y Ludovico Einaudi haciendo magia con sus manos.“Experience” es una de esas melodías que alteró mi brain chemistry para siempre. De esas que te hacen olvidar por un momento todo el caos por el cual estás atravesando y donde el tiempo parece detenerse por completo. Es la clase de música que logra poner en palabras emociones que ni siquiera sabías cómo expresar.Hace un año, mientras viajaba sola por Bali, compré estas entradas como regalo de cumpleaños para mi mamá. En ese momento no imaginaba todo lo que pasaría entre esa compra y esta noche.Sin quererlo, así también comenzó este viaje por Europa. Lo que empezó siendo un viaje con mi mamá terminó convirtiéndose en casi dos meses recorriendo el continente junto a ella, mi papá, mi hermana y mi tía donde hemos pasado tiempo de calidad en familia. Y al llegar a España, la vida me recordó que nada está garantizado. Me robaron una maleta completa con más de $8,000 en pertenencias. Y aunque perder tus cosas duele, experiencias como esta te recuerdan algo importante:Todo lo material es reemplazable. Los recuerdos no. Los momentos compartidos con las personas que amas tampoco.Sentarme junto a mi mamá a escuchar a uno de nuestros compositores favoritos del mundo fue un recordatorio de que el verdadero lujo nunca ha estado en las cosas que poseemos, sino en los momentos que vivimos y con quién los compartimos.No sé quién necesita leer esto, pero tu alma también necesita experiencias como esta.Y si tu alma necesita perrear con Benito, también se vale. ¿Soy yo o cada año los hoteles encuentran nuevas f ¿Soy yo o cada año los hoteles encuentran nuevas formas de venderte menos tiempo por más dinero?Después de 10 años viajando, tengo una teoría: las habitaciones son cada vez más caras mientras las horas que puedes disfrutarlas son cada vez menos.En este viaje por Europa me encontré con varios hoteles donde el check-in era hasta las 4 pm y el check-out a las 10 u 11 am.Para mí la lógica sería sencilla: si entro a las 4 pm, debería poder quedarme hasta las 4 pm del día siguiente. Al final estoy pagando una noche completa, ¿no?¿O soy la única que piensa que “una noche de hotel” ya no significa una noche completa? 👀La matemática no me da.A este ritmo, en unos años el check-in será a las 6 pm, el check-out a las 9 am y nos seguirán llamando “una noche” 😂🏨 ••• Is it just me, or do hotels keep finding new ways to charge you more for less time in the room?After 10 years of traveling, I have a theory: hotel rooms keep getting more expensive while the number of hours you can actually enjoy them keeps getting shorter.On this trip through Europe, I stayed at several hotels where check-in was at 4 pm and check-out was at 10 or 11 am.To me, the logic seems simple: if I check in at 4 pm, I should be able to stay until 4 pm the next day. Desde ver al Papa hasta presenciar un momento histórico: el sueño de Gaudí haciéndose realidad, 100 años después, con la inauguración de la Torre de Jesús de la Sagrada Familia.Lo más increíble es que mi familia y yo no teníamos idea de que ambos eventos ocurrían justo durante nuestro viaje. Fue pura suerte.Al final, España me recordó que un viaje no se define por lo peor que te pasa, sino por los recuerdos que te llevas.Gracias, España, por el caos, las lecciones y las historias que nunca voy a olvidar🇪🇸❤️ ••• My trip to Spain definitely started on the wrong foot.It began with an Airbnb that looked nothing like the photos and wasn’t even at the address we originally booked. I truly believe that change is what led to someone stealing a suitcase with over $7,000 USD worth of my belongings right outside the Airbnb.As if that wasn’t enough, we later discovered a working security camera inside the apartment.But plot twist: Spain also gave me some of the most unforgettable moments of my life. I got to see the Pope, witness a historic milestone as Gaudí’s dream came to life 100 years later with the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus at the Sagrada Família, experience the San Juan celebrations in Alicante, and accidentally end up doing Pilates right next to Diplo.The craziest part? My family and I had no idea any of these events were happening during the exact dates of our trip. El tráfico, el ritmo, el movimiento constante… podía sentir cuánto estaba afectando mi sistema nervioso.Después de vivir en 6 países, he aprendido que nuestro entorno importa mucho más de lo que creemos: puede cambiar nuestra energía, nuestros hábitos e incluso las personas que atraemos.Pero antes de decidir que estás en el lugar equivocado, pregúntate: ¿realmente me he dado la oportunidad de construir la vida correcta aquí?A veces no necesitas otro país. The traffic, the pace, the constant movement… I could feel how much my environment was affecting my nervous system.After living in 6 countries, I’ve learned that your environment matters more than we realize, it can change your energy, your habits, even the people you attract.But before deciding you’re in the wrong place, ask yourself: have I given myself the chance to build the right life here?Sometimes you don’t need a new country. You need new surroundings, new routines, new people, a life that feels more like you.Build a life you love, and you might be surprised by what — and who — starts finding you there.Maybe it was never just about Bali.
