Four Seasons Resort Anahita, Mauritius

After visiting the Seychelles, our next stop in the Indian ocean was another very famous destination where we spent lots of time: Mauritius!

We started our tour in Mauritius with the best- Four Seasons in Anahita, which we were very excited about after experiencing an incredible stay at the Four Seasons in Seychelles.

Compared to Seychelles, Mauritius has been developing for many more years as one of the most famous Indian Ocean destinations, even to their main competitor, Maldives. Mauritius is also a more developed country than Seychelles in terms of more variety of hotel options, since all major chains are in Mauritius. This is a very popular destination for outdoor activities and it features an incredible variety, including swimming with dolphins and whales.

When we were going to the hotel I realized that I had left my camera on the plane which made me super sad, since it was not the fact of the camera but rather my content of photos. But thanks to the incredible concierge service of the Four Seasons they did everything possible to retrieve it, calling the airline and retrieving it, so I had it back with me 2 days later.

Upon arrival we were greeted in their beautiful lobby where they immediately took us to our private beachfront villa which had an outside pool with a beautiful garden. The room is quite comfortable which has a huge bathroom and an additional outdoor shower. During our stay the truth is we just wanted to enjoy the hotel and relax. One of the activities that I enjoyed a lot was the spa as they offer a variety of treatments with the most incredible and peaceful views towards the mountains.

Although the Four Seasons Anahita is very popular for golf, that was not one of the activities I did. I rather focused on working on my tan and taking my daily vitamins: coconuts all day hahaha!

As for meals, the hotel offers a wide variety of dining with different menu options. One of my favorites was the Italian restaurant Acquapazza with one of the best pastas I’ve ever had and with a beautiful view of the pier to the sea. Another one we tried was the Bambou restaurant with a truly delicious Indian food menu.

I hope you liked this post and do not miss more about my adventures in Mauritius

xoxo

The pictures speak for themselves saying you had yet another amazing experience! My mom’s been to Mauritius and said it was amazing, but she’s not as good a photographer as you are, so now I actually believe her, haha. As for the concierge service, that is quite remarkable! Probably your camera took a few turns to some other countries first, but 2 days is easy to live with knowing you got all your content back so thumbs up to Four Seasons for that! 🙂
