Después de haber estado en Seychelles nuestra próxima parada en el océano indico era otro destino muy famoso al cual tuve la oportunidad de quedarme bastante tiempo: el querido Mauricio.
Claro que empezamos nuestro recorrido en Mauricio con lo mejor. Nos hospedamos en el Four Seasons Resort Anahita, el cual estábamos muy emocionados después de vivir tan increíble experiencia en Seychelles.
Mauricio en comparación con Seychelles es que lleva muchos más años en el mercado como uno del destino más famoso del océano indico de hecho que compite muchísimo con Maldivas. Mauricio es un país también más desarrollado que Seychelles en cuanto a más variedad de opciones de hoteles ya que todas las grandes cadenas están en Mauricio. Adicional a eso este destino es muy popular para hacer actividades al aire libre ya que cuenta con una variedad increíble para hacer actividades al aire libre desde senderismo de montaña, golf, nadar con delfines y ballenas, etc.
Cuando íbamos camino al hotel me di cuenta den gran percance, había dejado mi cámara en el avión lo que me hizo súper triste, ya que no era el hecho de la cámara sino más bien le contenido en ella ósea todas mis fotos! Ya se imaginaran como entre en pánico al darme cuenta de esto. Pero gracias al increíble servicio de concierge del Four Seasons ellos hicieron todo lo posible para recuperarla. Desde que lo informe no pararon de llamar a la aerolínea, migración, al aeropuerto hasta recuperarla. Así de fácil en menos de 2 días tenia mi cámara de vuelta. Increíble cierto?
Al llegar fuimos recibidos en su hermoso lobby donde inmediatamente nos llevaron a nuestra villa privada frente al mar la cual contaba con una piscina afuera con un bello jardín. La habitación es bastante cómoda la cual cuenta con un baño enorme y con una ducha outdoors adicional.
Durante nuestra estadía la verdad es que queríamos simplemente disfrutar del hotel y relajarnos. Una de las actividades que disfrute mucho fue el spa ya que ofrecen una gran variedad de tratamientos con las vistas más increíbles y tranquilas hacia las montañas. Si Mauricio cuenta con las vistas mas bellas y montañas muy interesantes.
A pesar que el Four Seasons Anahita es muy popular por el golf, esa no fue una de las actividades que hice más bien me enfoque en trabajar en mi bronceado y tomar mis vitaminas diarias: coco todo el día jajaja (que puedo decir amo todo lo que tenga que ver con coco). De hecho la piscina principal cuenta con un puestito de coco 24/7 ósea que se imaginaran que nunca salí de ese lugar ya que era mi spot preferido 🙂
En cuanto a las comidas el hotel ofrece una gran variedad de opciones de restaurantes y menú todas las noches. Uno de mis favoritos sin duda fue el restaurante italiano Acquapazza con una de las mejores pastas que he probado y con una bella vista del muelle al mar. Otro que probamos fue el restaurante Bambou con un menú de comida hindú realmente deliciosa. Haber estado en la region de Africa del este por casi 5 meses tengo que decir que he probado la mejor diversidad de comida hindu. A pesar que no disfruto de la comida picante me ha encantado saborear la comida de India con un toque de cada país que he visitado.

Marcy, como siempre tengo que decirte lo afortunada eres! por tener la oportunidad de visitar lugares tan magicos y paradisiacos. Mauricio, simplemente se ve un lugar precioso a traves de tus lindas imágenes. No puedeo creer lo de tu camara , que maravilla que aparecio y la tienes contigo. Te entiendo perfecto porque a mi una vez se me olvido mi computadora en un Uber y casi me da un infarto, tuve que hacer varias llamadas para contactar al chofer quien un dia despues me la llevo a mi hotel. Que suerte!

The pictures speak for themselves saying you had yet another amazing experience! My mom’s been to Mauritius and said it was amazing, but she’s not as good a photographer as you are, so now I actually believe her, haha. As for the concierge service, that is quite remarkable! Probably your camera took a few turns to some other countries first, but 2 days is easy to live with knowing you got all your content back so thumbs up to Four Seasons for that! 🙂

I didn’t know that Mauritius is one of the most famous Indian Ocean destinations. Mauritius sounds like the place to visit with all of the outdoor activities! Sorry you lost your camera but so thankful you were able to get it returned to you! A private beachfront villa sounds incredible! You always get me anytime you say somewhere has an outdoor shower. I bet the mountains were breathtaking! I never get tired of pasta but the Indian food sounds good too! What an incredible place to stay at!

I’ve always wanted to visit Mauritius! I think it’s a magical place. And after reading your post, I’m sure Mauritius will be my next stop considering the fact that it’s a more developed country and has a lot to offer. The Mauricio Four Season hotel is absolutely a dream come true! It just feels so natural and one with nature. There’s barely any need to do much when nature has all the amenities set out for you right?! haha
And that second last photo omg! I can’t tell exactly what it is but it looks gorgeous. Is that an indoor spa or pool of some sorts?

Have stayed at a few Four Seasons hotels and they are literally one of the best! Their luxury and service is unparalleled like you said to get your camera back is just so amazing!!
