Entrenar, arreglarte, sentirte bien con lo que ves en el espejo… todo eso también es amor propio.Pero trabajar en tu exterior y olvidarte de tu interior no es crecimiento.Y ese “tienes que aceptarme como soy”… cuidado por qué hay una gran diferencia entre aceptarte como eres y usar “así soy” como excusa para nunca evolucionar como persona.También hay que trabajar en cómo tratamos a los demás. En nuestra empatía. En saber pedir perdón. En reconocer cuando estamos equivocados. En nuestros valores. En las heridas que terminamos proyectando sobre otras personas.Porque puedes cambiar tu cuerpo, tu pelo, tu ropa, tu cara…pero al final, la belleza puede hacer que alguien te mire. Y quizás por eso a veces olvidamos lo afortunados que somos cuando la vida nos regala una buena.Ayer me despedí de mis padres, mi hermana y mi tía después de casi dos meses recorriendo Europa juntos.Hubo risas, desacuerdos, cambios de planes, momentos caóticos y muchos recuerdos que sé que me acompañarán para siempre.Llevo años viajando sola y estoy acostumbrada a tener mi espacio, mi rutina, así que no esperaba que su partida me fuera a pegar tanto.Pero ahora que vuelvo a estar sola, me doy cuenta de que algunas de las mejores partes del viaje no fueron los lugares que visitamos, sino las conversaciones, los desayunos largos y las personas con las que compartí cada día.Cuando piensas que una vida son apenas 80 veranos, te das cuenta de que el verdadero lujo no es poder viajar por el mundo.Es compartir la mesa con las personas que estuvieron ahí antes de tus éxitos, durante tus caídas y que seguirán ahí mucho después de que todo lo demás cambie❤️ ••• Family isn’t something we get to choose. ¿Soy yo o cada año los hoteles encuentran nuevas f ¿Soy yo o cada año los hoteles encuentran nuevas formas de venderte menos tiempo por más dinero?Después de 10 años viajando, tengo una teoría: las habitaciones son cada vez más caras mientras las horas que puedes disfrutarlas son cada vez menos.En este viaje por Europa me encontré con varios hoteles donde el check-in era hasta las 4 pm y el check-out a las 10 u 11 am.Para mí la lógica sería sencilla: si entro a las 4 pm, debería poder quedarme hasta las 4 pm del día siguiente. Al final estoy pagando una noche completa, ¿no?¿O soy la única que piensa que “una noche de hotel” ya no significa una noche completa? 👀La matemática no me da.A este ritmo, en unos años el check-in será a las 6 pm, el check-out a las 9 am y nos seguirán llamando “una noche” 😂🏨 ••• Is it just me, or do hotels keep finding new ways to charge you more for less time in the room?After 10 years of traveling, I have a theory: hotel rooms keep getting more expensive while the number of hours you can actually enjoy them keeps getting shorter.On this trip through Europe, I stayed at several hotels where check-in was at 4 pm and check-out was at 10 or 11 am.To me, the logic seems simple: if I check in at 4 pm, I should be able to stay until 4 pm the next day. Desde ver al Papa hasta presenciar un momento histórico: el sueño de Gaudí haciéndose realidad, 100 años después, con la inauguración de la Torre de Jesús de la Sagrada Familia.Lo más increíble es que mi familia y yo no teníamos idea de que ambos eventos ocurrían justo durante nuestro viaje. Fue pura suerte.Al final, España me recordó que un viaje no se define por lo peor que te pasa, sino por los recuerdos que te llevas.Gracias, España, por el caos, las lecciones y las historias que nunca voy a olvidar🇪🇸❤️ ••• My trip to Spain definitely started on the wrong foot.It began with an Airbnb that looked nothing like the photos and wasn’t even at the address we originally booked. I truly believe that change is what led to someone stealing a suitcase with over $7,000 USD worth of my belongings right outside the Airbnb.As if that wasn’t enough, we later discovered a working security camera inside the apartment.But plot twist: Spain also gave me some of the most unforgettable moments of my life. I got to see the Pope, witness a historic milestone as Gaudí’s dream came to life 100 years later with the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus at the Sagrada Família, experience the San Juan celebrations in Alicante, and accidentally end up doing Pilates right next to Diplo.The craziest part? My family and I had no idea any of these events were happening during the exact dates of our trip.
