El tráfico, el ritmo, el movimiento constante… podía sentir cuánto estaba afectando mi sistema nervioso.Después de vivir en 6 países, he aprendido que nuestro entorno importa mucho más de lo que creemos: puede cambiar nuestra energía, nuestros hábitos e incluso las personas que atraemos.Pero antes de decidir que estás en el lugar equivocado, pregúntate: ¿realmente me he dado la oportunidad de construir la vida correcta aquí?A veces no necesitas otro país. Necesitas un nuevo entorno, nuevas rutinas, nuevas personas… una vida que se sienta más tú.Construye una vida que ames y quizás te sorprenda lo que y a quién empieza a encontrarte ahí. Cuando eliges una vida alineada contigo, dejas de perseguir conexiones y empiezas a encontrarlas naturalmente.Quizás nunca se trató solo de Bali. I thought Bali wasn’t for me, when maybe the life I had built there wasn’t for me.At the time, I was living in the main Canggu area, constantly surrounded by tourists and people coming and going. The traffic, the pace, the constant movement… I could feel how much my environment was affecting my nervous system.After living in 6 countries, I’ve learned that your environment matters more than we realize, it can change your energy, your habits, even the people you attract.But before deciding you’re in the wrong place, ask yourself: have I given myself the chance to build the right life here?Sometimes you don’t need a new country. You need new surroundings, new routines, new people, a life that feels more like you.Build a life you love, and you might be surprised by what — and who — starts finding you there.Maybe it was never just about Bali. Desde ver al Papa hasta presenciar un momento histórico: el sueño de Gaudí haciéndose realidad, 100 años después, con la inauguración de la Torre de Jesús de la Sagrada Familia.Lo más increíble es que mi familia y yo no teníamos idea de que ambos eventos ocurrían justo durante nuestro viaje. Fue pura suerte.Al final, España me recordó que un viaje no se define por lo peor que te pasa, sino por los recuerdos que te llevas.Gracias, España, por el caos, las lecciones y las historias que nunca voy a olvidar🇪🇸❤️ ••• My trip to Spain definitely started on the wrong foot.It began with an Airbnb that looked nothing like the photos and wasn’t even at the address we originally booked. I truly believe that change is what led to someone stealing a suitcase with over $7,000 USD worth of my belongings right outside the Airbnb.As if that wasn’t enough, we later discovered a working security camera inside the apartment.But plot twist: Spain also gave me some of the most unforgettable moments of my life. I got to see the Pope, witness a historic milestone as Gaudí’s dream came to life 100 years later with the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus at the Sagrada Família, experience the San Juan celebrations in Alicante, and accidentally end up doing Pilates right next to Diplo.The craziest part? My family and I had no idea any of these events were happening during the exact dates of our trip. We were simply in the right place at the right time.In the end, Spain reminded me that a trip isn’t defined by the worst thing that happens to you—it’s defined by the memories you bring home.Thank you, Spain, for the chaos, the lessons, and the unforgettable stories🇪🇸❤️ •••• #españa #airbnb #papaleonxiv #sagradafamilia #travel

But how much do we actually understand about the countries we claim to know?I’ve spent years traveling, creating content, and sharing the beauty of this planet. And I’m not going to pretend I’m above the culture I’m questioning. I’m part of it, too.But the more I travel, the more I realize how easy it is to admire a place without understanding its reality.Bali is a perfect example.Millions visit this island every year, drawn to its Instagram-worthy paradise, while elsewhere in Indonesia, deforestation, habitat destruction, and environmental degradation threaten entire ecosystems.In Kalimantan, orangutans are losing their habitats, and communities are losing the forests they depend on.While some are losing their homes, others are busy finding the perfect angle for Instagram.We have time to create beautiful content, consume it, and build businesses around these destinations. Yet somehow, finding five minutes to care about what happens to them seems like too much to ask.This isn’t about giving up travel, enjoying your vacations any less, or never posting another beautiful photograph.It’s about understanding that the places we visit aren’t just backdrops for our content. They’re home to people, wildlife, and ecosystems that deserve more than our admiration.Because loving a place for its beauty means very little if we’re indifferent to its destruction.Share this post. Ahora los escojo por cómo quiero vivir.Después de tantos años viajando por el mundo, mis prioridades cambiaron. Dejé de querer correr para verlo TODO y empecé a valorar algo mucho más simple: sentirme un poquito en casa, incluso estando al otro lado del mundo.Una cocina donde hacer mi desayuno. Un espacio bonito para trabajar o descansar. Mis rutinas. Mañanas sin correr. Y tiempo para realmente vivir una ciudad.Y eso era exactamente lo que quería en Zúrich 🇨🇭Durante una semana, mi apartamento de @BluegroundHomes se convirtió en mi pequeño hogar. Trabajé, cociné, exploré mi barrio e incluso hice algunos day trips, todo a mi propio ritmo.Por unos días no sentí que estaba simplemente visitando Zúrich, sino experimentando cómo sería vivir aquí.
