Y pensar que antes las mujeres no podían hacer muchas de estas cosas… es increíble. Y todavía hoy en día algunas en muchos países no tienen los mismo derechos.A veces damos por sentado libertades que hoy parecen normales: viajar solas, tener nuestro propio dinero, elegir qué estudiar, decidir sobre nuestro cuerpo o nuestras vidas.Gracias a las mujeres antes que nosotras que cuestionaron lo que parecía “normal”, que levantaron la voz y lucharon para que hoy tengamos estas libertades.El mundo que muchas veces quiso mandarnos a callar, que nos dijo que nuestro lugar era la cocina o que no éramos lo suficientemente capaces… hemos demostrado exactamente lo contrario.Gracias a ellas hoy puedo elegir la vida que quiero.Ser mujer es un privilegio.
Ser mujer es fuerza.
Ser mujer es libertad.Si volviera a nacer, elegiría mil veces seguir siendo mujer.Feliz Día de la Mujer ❤️👭

Things I can do today because women before me fought for them:Have a passport, travel the world alone, express my opinions freely, drive a car, wear a bikini, decide who I want to marry, get a divorce, sign contracts, have my own bank account, own property, decide whether I want to have children, work out, choose how I dress, vote, talk about politics, move to another country, and decide what I want to study...And yet, in many parts of the world, millions of women still can’t do some of these things freely.Not long ago, many women couldn’t either.In a world that often tried to silence us, that told us our place was in the kitchen,
that we weren’t capable,
that our voices didn’t matter,
women kept pushing forward anyway.Because of them, many of us today have choices our grandmothers could only dream of.Being a woman is strength.
Being a woman is resilience.
Being a woman is possibility.And if I were born again, I would still choose to be one.Happy Women’s Day ❤️

“Egoísta” sería traer una vida al mundo sin haber $“Egoísta” sería traer una vida al mundo sin haber cuestionado nada.Vivimos en una época donde vemos guerras en tiempo real. Donde vemos niños huyendo. Donde vemos hambre. Océanos llenos de plástico. Gobiernos jugando ajedrez con vidas humanas y con el planeta. Un sistema que no protege ni siquiera a los que ya están aquí.Y aun así, la pregunta siempre es: “¿Cuándo vas a tener hijos?”No digo que esté mal tenerlos. Si tú deseas traer hijos a este mundo, es tu decisión y la respeto. Lo que digo es que para mí no es automático.Porque traer una vida no es cumplir una expectativa social. Es asumir una responsabilidad emocional, económica y moral gigantesca.Tener hijos solo porque “es lo que sigue”, sin cuestionar el mundo al que llegarán, tal vez significa que vemos la vida desde lugares muy distintos.Y si cuestionar eso me hace “egoísta”… quizás lo verdaderamente egoísta es no cuestionarlo.No es miedo. No es rechazo a la idea de familia. Antes de los 30 era lo que más anhelaba.Es que me niego a vivir en piloto automático. Me niego a ignorar la realidad.En un mundo que se está fracturando, para mí, conciencia pesa más que tradición.Y lo más irónico es esto: la sociedad te presiona para tener hijos… pero no se responsabiliza por el mundo en el que crecerán. ••• 🗣️: “Marcy, why don’t you want kids? So selfish…The world today: 💔Selfish” would be bringing a life into this world without questioning anything.We live in a time of real-time wars, children fleeing, hunger, polluted oceans, and governments playing chess with human lives and our planet.And still, the question is always: “When are you having kids?”I’m not saying it’s wrong to have them. If you truly want children, I respect that. I’m saying it’s not automatic for me.Because having a child isn’t checking a box. It’s an enormous emotional, financial, and moral responsibility.If questioning the world they’d be born into makes me “selfish”… maybe what’s truly selfish is not questioning it at all.It’s not fear.
