Maxi Dress & Statement Necklace

Happy Thursday!! We are more close from the weekend YAY!!!

Lately I have been looking forward for the weekends and I must say a lot actually. Hope all of you are doing the same 🙂

Yesterday I mentioned I was travelling which was the reason of my disappearance from the blogosphere the past weeks. However I’m super excited because I have many material that can’t wait to share with all of you.

Today I’m sharing one of the looks I used in Cartagena, Colombia. Yes I was in Cartagena a couple of days ago. This trip was completely Adam’s idea. He was “supposed to visit me to Panama” and we end up going to Cartagena, Colombia as a surprise to me.

I must say I did not have anything to with the planning, this had Adam name all over it. I was actually very shock because he choose such a nice hotel and we really enjoyed every moment in our time at Cartagena.

When I knew I was coming to Cartagena obviously I plan to brig lots of fun and colorful outfits. This is one of them a black maxi dress with a statement necklace.

I love maxi dresses because they are super comfy and they can make you looked very relax specially with flats like i did for this look. Believe it or not a maxi dress can be style in so many different ways: from a casual look to a more semiformal look. The secret key is how you style it.

This maxi dress in particular I liked because it has openings in both legs and also I love the shape from the top, which is such a feminine detail.

The necklace I have it since 6 years ago and I still wear it a lot. Maybe many of you think is huge right? LOL…. But I really love it so much. I always try to mixed with simple pieces so it can stand out more. If you style it with a print or something not simple it will be a extremely busy.
