The Bocas Life, Panama

Good morning beautiful peeps!!! Its incredible that we are already in half week uh?

Lately I have been feeling that time flies but is because I decided to enter school again. Yes, I guess we are never to old to study right? This is why I feel that I need more hours on my day. My routine has been crazy from my house to work, from work to classes and from classes to my house. I get almost to my house everyday at 11pm which is exhausting. But what can I say hard work pays off and is completely worth it for my future.

I have always think time is one of the few things we can control in life and if we organize ourselves to propose anything we can do it.

So between days and times I’m finally catching up in my travel post YAY!! Today I want to share with all of you my final Panama destination: Bocas del Toro which I got to explore with Robert.

When we where in Chiriqui we wanted to go direct from there since its easier in distance. However, I was unable to join Robert since I had some work commitments that I couldn’t cancel and also because that same weekend was the baby shower from one of my closer best friends. So it was life or death for me to be that weekend in the city.

While I was in the city attending my commitments Robert was exploring Red Frog and I was planning to joining him 3 days after. So on Monday I took a flight to Bocas del Toro via AirPanama and meet Robert at the airport. This way we leaved together to take the boat to Bastimentos Island where the Hotel Azul Paradise is. Is about 35-40 min the boat drive.

Since the moment we arrived Robert and me were very excited because we had heard some nice reviews from hotel for been a eco friendly resort. They received us with 2 refreshing and cold coconuts waters and give us a very quick tour from the hotel installations. The Azul paradise hotel have 10 over the water bungalows. Each of the bungalows features a private outdoor shower, an outdoor living area with sofa, sunken lounge over the water, and a ladder leading from the sundeck straight into the waters of the Caribbean.

All the food is taken in the main house where the reception is and in the second floor is the restaurant. All the meals we took from breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good. We order so many varieties in dishes from quesadillas, nacho, fish, sandwiches and really everything was delicious. In many of our meals we had a nice company from the hotel pet which is the naughty and cute monkey in the pictures. So be careful to watch for your staff or he will take them lol

As for activities believe me you will never get bored. The hotel offers a whole range of fun activities from tubing, surf lessons, zip line tour, Red Frog or Zapatillas Island tour, caiman trail, etc.. The hotel also has table games for you to take to your room and play with your partner. Robert and me played a game of cards that had some questions. It sounds very boring but is actually very fun because it asks the craziest question you will never imagine someone will ask and the good thing is that you can get to know better your partner.

For sure staying in Azul Paradise was such a great and relaxing experience that is making me to come back. I hope you enjoy this post. Happy Wednesday!

xx
