Continuing with our tour around the French Riviera this time we arrive to Nice, France. Is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and just about 13 kilometres (8 miles) from the principality of Monaco.
The city is nicknamed Nice la Belle Nice is well known for its beautiful beaches with the best sea views, incredible architecture, museums, squares, markets French food, and nightlife. The picturesque Nicean surroundings have attracted not only those in search of relaxation, but also those seeking inspiration
One of the best views of the city certainly are appreciate from the Hotel La Perouse, a hidden gem of the French Riviera. Built on a promontory next to the sea, the establishment offers the most beautiful view of Nice and the Bay of Angels. You arrive through a discrete entrance, as if you were visiting a private home. Next, an elevator takes you to the heart of this high-perched building filled with charming labyrinths and clinging to a steep hillside covered with luxurious Mediterranean vegetation. The impression of a patrician mansion is reinforced by warm tones on the outside façade, contrasting with surprisingly contemporary furnishings made in fine materials on the inside.
Hotel La Perouse belongs to Du Roy Hotels chain which is a small chain of French boutique hotels located in Paris and Nice. But also belongs to the SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World) chain certainly one of the best hotels in Nice not only with the best views (just be the judge of my photos taken from the hotel) but also for its location as it was close to the areas Robert and I wanted to explore. We literally could walk and within 10 minutes we were in the Place Rosetti and Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate. This area is simply beautiful to miss. Without any difference as my other visits in Cannes, Aix Provence this also has beautiful narrow and colorfoul alleys that the more you walked you had the desire to explore and get lost in this beautiful surroundings.
One of the things Robert and I enjoyed the most was the service Hotel La Perouse including the amazing breakfast overlooking the incredible blue coast they received us which was extraordinary. Yep, definitely breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and eating a delightful meal overseeing this amazing view definitely Hotel La Perouse won my hearth! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this post and stay tuned for my last 3 destinations in this Europtrip!
