Hi, guys, I’m writing this post from my beautiful Panama. Yes, I’m back to my pretty hot Latin roots. I’m sure some of you have already noticed on my IG stories that I been here since 2 weeks ago.
Robert and I had some free time before starting another project in Africa so we both took this opportunity to visit our countries and runs some errands. For me I have to take care of lots of paperwork that I never did when I left to Africa November of last year, so it’s been waiting for me all this time. (lol I’m not very good with documents hehe)
I have to say that being back feels good. These past five months have changed me as a person and as a woman. I feel a more mature woman, happier, and incredibly grateful to life. It is amazing how traveling changes you as a person and how you learn to value things more even though if they are simple things that fill your life with much happiness.
I mean don’t get me wrong, being on safari, hanging out with the Massai community, exploring the most paradisiacal beaches in the world sounds incredible, but something that I was really hoping on my arrival was to hang out with my family and friends since I really miss them to death. I also wanted to do simple activities that I couldn’t do all this time in Africa for example: go for dinner with your besties, partying, going to the movies, go shopping, trying new restaurants, going to events, etc …
Going to events was something I was looking forward not only because as a girl it is fun to dress up but I also enjoy seeing familiar faces and networking is always good. I have to thank all of you who have seen me down the street or the mall and approached me to say beautiful comments about my IG page and blog. Honestly hearing all the comments from all of you is what keeps going and motivated to continue inspiring and creating content for all of you.
After been back this was the perfect opportunity to take pictures with my dear photographer friend Gonx Barrios. This look we did in the afternoon and is one of my favorite looks lately from@showmeyourmumu. Show me your mumu is a brand of clothing for those girls with a carefree adventurous soul. They have so many beautiful things that I would love to invite you to explore their page. They just launched their new summer collection and it is absolutely stunning.
As you all know I am a beach lover and everything that involves tropical paradise. This two-piece outfit not only screamed my name lol but for starters, I love the print of the banana leaves and the design of the top with the detail of the choker that’s a new trend lately. As for the skirt not only the length is perfect but I also love the opening of the leg which makes it the perfect tropical vibe. What are your thoughts about this look?

I am seriously obsessed with this gorgeous dress from Show Me Your Mumu. the print, the cut and the flow…everything is perfect!! I totally understand how difficult it is being on the road all the time and coming home to a ton of unfinished business. Panama! You must be having a lovely time! I feel you on paperwork! I don’t mind it when I actually do it but it’s having to stop procrastinating and actually do it that gets me. I don’t get the opportunity to travel but a couple times a year since I have little ones but I can imagine that is so enriching to your soul to experience people and places outside of your comfort zone! So from one paradise to another… I loved reading your posts from Africa and they weren’t just “hey, I’m on a safari” posts, but really got in depth into what the culture was like and how your experiences shaped and changed you as a woman.
