Have I ever mentioned to you guys my passion for interior design? I think I have… From a few months back I opened this category on my blog to share all the amazing places and spaces I have found on my travels.
When I plan my trip to Playa del Carmen I did my research about restaurants all over Quintana Roo and on top of my list I had Posada Margherita in Tulum. Actually a lot of friends had mentioned this place to me before. And as every good traveler I did ask my dear friend google and read amazing reviews about this restaurant.
Posada Margherita is actually a hotel with a italian bistro restaurant in front of the beach. From the moment you walk in you can notice the restaurant has a very modern vintage chic vibe because of the decoration all around. The entire place is made of a stunning vintage white wood.
It as a open kitchen which I loved because is in the middle of the restaurant and people can see all the action. The kitchen was build in a certain way that appears to be a food market. It shows all the vegetables and fruits that makes the kitchen pop because of the colors.
Since the moment we walked in Hilany and Anita were stunned of how beautiful de place was. What can I say.. Have been always very good in choosing great restaurants and hotels. A+ for me!!
The service is really good and what I liked the most was that theres not physical menu. The menu is the waiter (which by the way was vey hot) He explained how each every single dish is prepared.. very impressive!!!
My cousin and I order pasta with a refreshing white wine. Anita order a sale that looked super yummy! As dessert we ordered a delicious tiramisu which all 3 shared.
After having lunch we stay at the beds they had in the beach perfect to rest. By the time we finished it was sunset time. So we stay and watch the sunset. Tulum has one of the most beautiful sunsets. They are kind off pinky!
If you ever go to Tulum you cannot miss this place!
