Hola mis queridos viajeros!! Hoy les quiero compartir mi diario de mi segunda visita en Mauricio, la cual consistía explorar el are del sur de Mauricio más cerca del downtown. Aunque no lo crean, pero por más pequeño que se vea Mauricio en el mapa es una isla bastante grande.
Y la verdad es que Robert y yo estábamos muy emocionados de seguir explorando Mauricio junto a la cadena de hoteles Heritage Resorts. Apenas salimos de Anahita nos dirigimos hacia el sur donde se encuentra el mundo Heriatage en donde estimábamos llegar después del medio día para hacer check in y disfrutar de un almuerzo.
Después del almuerzo hicimos un tour en carrito de golf del hotel para conocer sus increíbles instalaciones. Durante el tour me pude dar cuenta de por qué le llaman el “El mundo de Heritage” ya que esta cuenta con 3 increíbles propiedades: Heritage Le Telfair, Heritage Awali y Heritage Villas.
Nosotros tuvimos la oportunidad de quedarnos en Heritage Awali. Sin embargo, lo que me pareció increíble del mundo Heritage es que cualquiera de sus actividades e increíbles instalaciones pueden ser disfrutadas por cualquier persona que se esté hospedando en cualquiera de sus 3 propiedades.
Si alguna vez ustedes tienen la oportunidad de visitar el Mundo Heritage en Mauricio no se pueden perder por hacer lo siguiente:
- Visitar el famoso Chateau del Bel Ombre: que es una encantadora casa antigua de la planta de azúcar que había hace muchos años que ahora sumerge a sus huéspedes en su rica herencia de Mauricio ubicado en un hermoso jardín francés. Este es uno de los lugares insignias de la cadena para que sus huéspedes disfruten de una linda y elegante cena.
- La región de Bel Ombre: está rodeada por una cordillera y un parque nacional The Black River Gorges. De alrededor de 1300 hectáreas de reserva natural de la cual se disfruta de muchas actividades para esos “ourdoors lovers” entre ellas esta: montañismo, senderismo, descubrir cataratas, hacer de un lindo safari explorando la flora y fauna dirigido por un guía entrenado. Recuerdo que este fue súper divertido ya que ese día vimos muchos animales, exploramos las cataratas y pudimos ver una de las mejores vistas a la línea costera.
- Infinity Blue: este es el beach club del mundo Heritage el cual es un lugar súper placentero, lleno de diversión y muchos juegos. Nosotros pasamos acá uno de los atardeceres donde disfrutamos que un buen ambiente, buenas bebidas y bocadillos.
- Cocoshack: Creo que esto es algo que todos los hoteles deberían tener. Es un lindo puestito en medio de la playa con columpios para poder relajarte y poder buscar tus vitaminas diarias: Si, pura agua natural de coco.
- Ice cream shop: Otro ejemplo que todo hotel debería tener. Una tiendita de helados caseros y 100% naturales. Fue mi spot favorito ya que no salía de acá. Recuerdo que todos los días iba por mi helado que hasta la señora ya me reconocía jaja.
- Seven Colours Spa: sin duda uno de los más lindos spas que he visitado y también uno de los mejores que he recibido. Empecé mis tratamientos con baño de espumas y flores, el cual fue seguido de un scrub de coco en todo mi cuerpo para terminar con un rico masaje. Les juro que pensé que era un sueño, pero todo fue pura realidad gracias a Heritage que me consintió como una reina.
- Almuerzo sobre el mar: Si, escucharon bien y no, no es al lado del mar estamos hablando de que es sobre el mar. Sin duda uno de mis momentos favoritos que experimente con Robert ya que la comida no solamente estaba súper rica con su variedad de ricas y saludables ensaladas, pero el poder estar almorzando algo delicioso y disfrutar al mismo tiempo de las refrescantes aguas mauricianas ¿suena increíble no?

Are you serious? this place looks amazing and I’m not suprised I’ve had a few friends go to Mauritius and stayed at Heritage resorts the most recent one a friend stayed at was Heritage Le Telfair I think! But none the less I’ve heard great things about the chain! thanks for sharing the post the place looks so fabulous will have to think about checking these guys out if I ever stay in Mauritius.
Oh my god this looks like heaven! Girl you’re always giving me the travel bug. From eating in the sea to massages and a gorgeous location. It’s seriously the perfect getaway. And sign me up for that coconut scrub!
This resort sounds fantastic! How fun that they have their own ice cream shop. Also, their seven color spa sounds amazing. Coconut scrub? This is the first time I hear about coconut scrub. I try to insorporate coconut into my skincare routine and this one definitely goes on my list to try. Hopefully I can find it somewhere local here. Beautiful photos and glad you had a good time.

I’ve always heard Mauritius is lovely and have had it on my bucket list for a while. It definitely looks like tropical paradise! Was it very humid there like the maldives (my honeymoon was there and I’ve heard they can be quite similar)? The hotel property looks very relaxing and luxurious as well. Regions are always so much larger than they appear on a map. I definitely thought Mauritius was a small place; it’s so good to know it’s not! Infinity Blue: and Cocoshack are 2 definite places I would check out with my fiancé. We both love outdoor games and also naturally sourced foods and beverages. Wow this Heritage Resorts at Maruicio sounds so lovely. It’s amazing that they have three properties there and you can walk amongst them all. The grounds are beautiful as is the pool.
