Después de estar 5 meses en el continente africano y 2 semanas en Tailandia era hora de volver a hacer una aventura por Europa.
La última vez que visite Europa fue antes de empezar mi carrera de blogger hace unos 4 años. Es increíble como pasa el tiempo verdad? Así que de verdad ansiaba mucho las ganas de regresar por otra aventura europea, pero sobre todo darles una mejor variedad a mis fotos de Instagram jajaja. Muchos de ustedes siempre me han preguntado por qué solo tomo fotos en playa y en safaris así que esta iba hacer mi oportunidad para capturar fotos diferentes.
Mi visita a Europa se debía a que me iba a ver con una de mis mejores amigas de Panamá en Barcelona para un proyecto que teníamos juntas y del cual les comentare más adelante. Como ella todavía no había llegado a Barcelona tenía un tiempo libre, así que estaba debatiendo si ir a Londres o a Madrid por unos días.
Al final me decidí por explorar mas España e irme a Madrid ya que era mucho más fácil para mi irme a Barcelona después, tenía muchos amigos allá y hablo el mismo idioma lo que lo hacía más fácil. Increíble pero cierto haber pasado casi un año en África me hizo valorar lo mucho que me gusta hablar el español.
Cuando supe que iba a Madrid lo primero que hice fue escribirle a una de mis mejores amigas de Panamá: Nini, ya que ella estudio su master en Madrid así que le pedí sus recomendaciones y que me conectara con sus amigos locales.
Algo que me gusta hacer al viajar es poder conectarme con viejos amigos o amigos de mis amigos porque me gusta escuchar sus recomendaciones y en caso de una emergencia siempre cuento con alguien que me pueda ayudar.
Como era mi primera vez en Madrid y en España quería buscar un hotel cómodo, tranquilo donde pudiera trabajar ya que tenía mucho trabajo pendiente, pero al mismo tiempo algo que me quedara cerca de las zonas turísticas para conocer y claro de la mejor área de compras. Dicen que Madrid es buenísimo para hacer shopping.
Era mi oportunidad perfecta por que todo lo que tenía en mi maleta eran vestidos de baño y ropa tropical lo cual no me servía de nada. Cuando planie mi euros trip se me olvido el pequeño detalle que estaba visitando en pleno otoño-invierno, así que urgentemente necesitaba hacer compras de invierno.
Mi casa en Madrid iba a hacer Artiem Fresh People Hotels que pertenece a una bella familia española en Menorca quien abrió puertas en Madrid no hace mucho inaugurando su primer urban-green hotel.
Arrime Madrid es la combinación perfecta entre trabajo y descanso mientras haces negocios en la ciudad o en mi caso hacer negocios online mientras disfrutas de una bella ciudad. Créanme que para esos digital nomads este hotel es una gran opción.
Arrime Madrid cuenta con 83 habitaciones de 4 tipos todas diseñadas para usar luz natural, súper espaciosas para brindarte un gran espacio de trabajo o para que puedas hacer tus estiramientos de yoga o ejercicios en tu habitación. Creanme que buscar un hotel espacioso en Europa es todo un challenge y con este tenia espacio de sobra.
Les juro que para haber sido mi primera visita en Madrid no pude haber imaginado mejor hotel donde quedarme ya que de verdad hizo mi estadía mucho más cómoda, y memorable sin tener que atrasarme con la cantidad de trabajo que tenía pendiente.
Así que decidí hacer una lista de 10 razones de por qué este debe ser tu próximo hotel cuando visites Madrid:
- Esta ubicado en un barrio llamado Juan Perez Zúñiga el cual es bastante tranquilo. Ni muy lejos ni muy cerca del aeropuerto (7km), muy cerca de IFEMA y solo a unos 10 -15 min del centro de la ciudad.
- Es un hotel green que honestamente para mi es una parte muy importante de cómo contribuir al medio ambiente.
- Tiene excelente wifi!! Como digital nomad esto es súper importante para mí ya que siempre debo estar conectada por trabajo, pero ¿Cuantas veces han visto que el hotel donde te quedas dice que tiene buen wifi, pero ningún archivo de Dropbox te baja o ni siquiera puedes subir una foto de Instagram? Con Artiem Madrid este no fue mi caso. Literal pude bajar todos mis archivos de Dropbox (2567 archivos para ser exacta) en menos de 15 minutos. Wifi rápido es solo un detalle.
- ¡El manager del hotel está bien guapo!! Maneja una motocicleta y se llama Will. ¡Capaz y las lleva a dar su primera vuelta en moto como me paso a mi lol!
- Cuenta con las camas y almohadas más cómodas para que puedas dormir por horas. ¡Les juro que son mágicas!
- Los desayunos del hotel son deliciosos- desde sus propias estaciones de huevos, pan, jugos hasta su propia estación de bowls. La estación de bowls definitivamente fueron mis favoritos porque amo los acai bowls y pude variarlos por día para probarlos todos 🙂
- El staff es excepcional! Desde el momento que hice check-in, hasta mis desayunos por la mañana, el staff de aseo, hasta el momento que hice check out. Todos fueron súper friendly y amables.
- Lindos corners y espacios para trabajar. Si te cansas de tu habitación abajo en planta baja hay una gran variedad de cute corners para que puedas inspirarte y trabajar. Lo mejor de todo es que brindan café y snacks gratis todo el día.
- Ofrecen Breakfast in bed- definitivamente el mejor breakfast in bed que pude haber imaginado- súper saludable delicioso y lo mejor de todo fotogénico lol
- Cuenta con un gimnasio. El estar on the road casi todo el tiempo en mi caso cuesta mucho mantener mi figura. Así que el hecho de que tuviera un gimnasio para mí es un súper plus. Sobre todo porque en Europa muy pocos hoteles ofrecen esto.

Ok this hotel looks so perfect! Now I want to book a trip to Madrid so badly! The hotel is styled to perfection, and the food and the views look amazing. It’s very hard to find spacious hotel rooms in Europe with fast WiFi, and styled so beautifully! I hope to stay there one day! Thanks for sharing this gem.

Your stay I was awesome . The most that I liked is the comfy bad with many pillows to sleep for hours, the photogenic healthy breakfast in the bed and the great spacious and lighted rooms. What’s else I will visit this hotel for sure .

Personally if I could just take pics on beaches and safari I would LOL. Looking gorgeous as always! That hotel sounds perfect. I love that it’s a green hotel and a cute manager always helps 🙂 And ugh – drives me nuts when wifi is slow when you’re traveling. Good to hear it wasn’t at problem there.

Your travel always inspires me and my goal this year is to go to Barcelona just have to find out how to clear my hubby’s schedule! How long would you recommend we go for? Anyways, your stay in Madrid seems SO wonderful! Artiem Madrid definitely check so many boxes for a place to stay! I really love that they are a green hotel too! This is the cutest hotel ever!! It definitely is a huge change from all your resort- style, beach-centered posts you’ve been doing and I love it!
