Acababa de descubrir una infidelidad en un vuelo de regreso de trabajo… y por alguna razón, en medio del aeropuerto, terminé sentada llorando frente a una monja que ni siquiera conocía.Le conté todo. Sin filtro. Sin miedo. Le pedí consejo como si me conociera de toda la vida… incluso sabiendo que una parte de mí quería quedarse en esa relación.Años después entendí que no era casualidad. No era sobre ella… era sobre cómo me hizo sentir su presencia.Con los años he notado que muchas personas se acercan a mí, de la misma forma en que yo lo hice con aquella monja en el aeropuerto de Lima, a contarme sus historias… y para mí es algo profundamente hermoso darme cuenta de que tu energía siempre habla más fuerte que cómo te ves, que lo que dices o que lo que muestras.Y eso no se puede fingir. No es apariencia, no es discurso… es algo más sutil. No filter, no fear… as if she’d known me my whole life.Years later, I realized it wasn’t about her it was about how I felt in her presence.Over time, I’ve noticed people often open up to me the same way. No te la saltes.🚃 Súbete al famoso Tram 28, el icónico tranvía amarillo que recorre algunos de los barrios más bonitos de Lisboa. Ojo con los carteristas dentro del tram.🩰 Tienes que pasar por @flabelus. Sus bailarinas son demasiado lindas; mis favoritas son las de mesh.📚 Explora @lxfactory, un antiguo complejo industrial convertido en un espacio creativo lleno de cafés, restaurantes, tiendas y librerías. Entra a Ler Devagar, su famosa librería.🍴 Cena en @pomme_eatery. Se hizo aún más conocido después de que Harry Styles comiera acá.🍸 Drinks en @hotelvalverdelisboa. Tiene un jardín/terraza escondido súper cute en pleno centro.🍦 Prueba @myka_greek. Mi viaje por España empezó con el pie izquierdo: m Mi viaje por España empezó con el pie izquierdo: me robaron una maleta con más de $7,000 USD en pertenencias.Pero el plot twist fue que España también me regaló momentos que jamás imaginé vivir. Desde ver al Papa hasta presenciar un momento histórico: el sueño de Gaudí haciéndose realidad, 100 años después, con la inauguración de la Torre de Jesús de la Sagrada Familia.Lo más increíble es que mi familia y yo no teníamos idea de que ambos eventos ocurrían justo durante nuestro viaje. Fue pura suerte.Al final, España me recordó que un viaje no se define por lo peor que te pasa, sino por los recuerdos que te llevas.Gracias, España, por el caos, las lecciones y las historias que nunca voy a olvidar🇪🇸❤️ ••• My trip to Spain definitely started on the wrong foot.It began with an Airbnb that looked nothing like the photos and wasn’t even at the address we originally booked. I truly believe that change is what led to someone stealing a suitcase with over $7,000 USD worth of my belongings right outside the Airbnb.As if that wasn’t enough, we later discovered a working security camera inside the apartment.But plot twist: Spain also gave me some of the most unforgettable moments of my life. I got to see the Pope, witness a historic milestone as Gaudí’s dream came to life 100 years later with the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus at the Sagrada Família, experience the San Juan celebrations in Alicante, and accidentally end up doing Pilates right next to Diplo.The craziest part? My family and I had no idea any of these events were happening during the exact dates of our trip. Tomé pastillas anticonceptivas durante años. Usé desodorantes llenos de químicos.Hice Pr hauls. Me hice microblading. Pensé en operarme los senos. La nariz. Lip fillers. Botox. Lipo. BBL.Usaba filtros que cambiaban mi cara. Editaba fotos para borrar celulitis, rollitos, imperfecciones. Consumía lujo como si eso validara mi valor.Comparé mi cuerpo. Comparé mi cara. Comparé mi vida.Y lo más incómodo de admitir: nosotros mismos creamos la basura que luego consumimos.Y lo peor…creía que todo esto lo hacía “porque quería”.Nos convencieron de que siempre hay algo que arreglar. Que lo natural es descuido. Que envejecer es fracaso. Que si no produces, no vales.Pero hay algo que me parece cada vez más extraño…¿No les parece raro que ahora todas las mujeres empiezan a verse igual?La misma cara. La misma nariz. Los mismos labios. La misma cartera. La misma estética.Como si la belleza se hubiera convertido en una plantilla.Para mí hay algo profundamente hermoso en lo contrario.En envejecer. En las arrugas que cuentan historia. En una cara que no se parece a ninguna otra.Porque lo que somos naturalmente con nuestras rarezas, rasgos y diferencias es exactamente lo que nos hace interesantes.No perfectas pero REALES!
