Fregate Private Island, Seychelles

Continuando con mis aventuras de Seychelles después de pasar unos días en la isla principal Mahe era hora de irnos a otro lugar. ¿Que tal les suena una isla privada?

Después de estar en una isla privada en Tanzania, Robert y yo estábamos emocionados de volver a una isla privada pero esta vez en el paradisiaco Seychelles. En esta ocasión nos fuimos a Fregate Private Island de la cadena de hoteles alemana Oetker Collection. Este paraíso aislado está a solo 55 kilómetros de la costa de Seychelles Mahé al cual se puede llegar en barco o en helicóptero. El mismo hotel se encargó de recogernos en Mahe para llevarnos a este paraíso en un helicóptero privado a solo 15 minutos. Tengo que decir que el viaje fue bastante placentero a pesar que fue corto ya que ver las aguas turquesas desde las alturas es toda una experiencia.

A medida que nos empezamos a acercar a la bella joya Fregate Private Island fue un momento casi cliché que borró la línea entre realidad y fantasía. Fregate es muy famoso por ser el santuario de muchas especies y por tener una de las mejores playas del mundo. Así que sabíamos que no solo íbamos a conocer el hotel, pero sino también vivir toda una experiencia y aventura durante nuestra estadía.

Al aterrizar fuimos recibidos por nuestro butler con 2 refrescantes bebidas naturales, donde seguidamente hicimos un pequeño tour en carrito de golf de la isla mientras íbamos camino a nuestra villa privada en donde pudimos ver muchas lindas tortugas y bellas aves. Fuimos instalados en una villa de 4 facetas: vestíbulo, habitación, una enorme sala y la gran terraza que daba hacia el mar con un infinity pool y jacuzzy. Recuerdo que al entrar inmediatamente note en el vestibulo una mesa redonda llena de frutas frescas y ricos dulces caseros esperándome jajaj (para los que me conocen saben que algo que nunca puedo decirle no es a cualquier tipo de fruta o cualquier tipo de dulce)

La isla cuenta con 16 residencias privadas todas hechas de madera de Balau, duchas al aire libre y buggy privado. Fregate Private island en si cuenta con tantas actividades y alrededores de flora y fauna que la verdad sabíamos que aburrirnos no era una opción. Estamos hablando que la isla cuenta con 7 playas privadas, un club de yates con un centro de buceo PADI, una casa de árbol, muchos senderos de montaña con las mejor vistas de la isla y claro el Rock Spa. Desde el primer día Robert y yo probamos el Rock Spa en donde nos hicieron unos masajes indulgentes para un conseguir relajarnos desde el primer día.

Cada lugar donde tomábamos nuestras comidas siempre eran diferentes y totalmente privados para nosotros. Cada comida fue una experiencia única gracias a nuestro butler que hacia cada setting especial. En cada comida estábamos acompañado siempre de él y de nuestro chef privado que hacía de estas experiencias más sabrosas por su excepcional gusto gastronómico y diversidad en el menú de cada día consentían nuestro paladar.

Algunos de mis momentos favoritos sin duda fueron el desayuno en la casa del árbol rodeada del sonido de la naturaleza y el sonido de lindos pajaritos.  Una cena bbq en frente del yatch club en una linda y confortable casita la cual tenía una linda terraza donde estaba la mesa donde íbamos a cenar y dentro había puros juegos de mesa, una mesa de billar, un mini bar, pantalla plana, y todo lo necesario para no aburrirse. Un rico y delicioso picnic que era la playa más votada por ser una de las más lindas del mundo y el ultimo día recuerdo una cena frente a la playa con un setting súper romántico un camino de velas y flores, con fondo el sonido del mar, la luna y un hermoso cielo estrellado.

Nuestro butler realmente fue excepcional y el que hizo nuestra estadía en Fregate Private island inolvidable. Les juro que era como Jenny la genia ya que todo lo que le pedíamos lo hacía realidad.

    I just came back from a recent resort vacation and I can totally understand how enjoyable and relaxing it is to be able to have a butler to plan everything for you. The service you have experienced sounds impeccable and the surroundings flora and fauna sounds like a scene out of a Disney movie by the ocean!

    I have NEVER been on a private island before. Your trip is seriously epic! Fregate sounds amazing. And your own butler??!!! Amazing. You are never going to be able to get back to «real life» after living it up like this. Your photos are beautiful as always. I’m also totally crushing on that black skirt – so pretty!

    Oh my gosh, I have been dying over all of your Insta photos on Seychelles and Fregate island and seeing so much more photos here makes me want to visit even more!! I love the hotel with the infinity pool, it is so dreamy and totally fitting to enjoy the beautiful beach scenery. Def bookmarking this for future travel ideas and bucket list!

    Fregate Private Island from Oetker Collection looks and sounds so wonderful! How fun that they took care of travel and you took a helicopter there. There’s not much better to me than the sounds of birds in the morning and evening! How amazing to be treated by a butler and I’m right there with you with sweets and fruit! The outdoor showers sound phenomenal as well as all of the food! Little touches and specifications catered to you always take a travel trip far beyond expectation!

    Looking at your photos and reading your post, I must say your trip to Fregate Private Island is truly a trip to paradise. Private island, private helicopter ride, a butler, fresh fruits, breakfast in the tree house? Yup those are certainly elements of paradise. And I definitely need me some couple massages at the Rock Spa as well. I seriously cannot wait for your post to Seychelles, but this one seems like my favorite one to see so far!

    Que belleza de lugar! Sin duda un paraíso rodeado de la naturaleza y los mas bonitos paisajes. Increible saber que existen lugares tan paradisiacos como esta isla privada, y si, que es privada porque como mencionas el acceso no es de lo mas facil, pero quien no quiere subir a un helicoptero y admirar el paisaje?! Ese desayuno en la casa del arbol, suena la cosa mas maravillosa. Me encanto tu post como siempre. Gracias por compartir esta magica aventura en Seychelles.

    As much as I enjoy food and dining in general, I’d definitely enjoy it more having a butler and our private chef for each meal! How amazing that must feel being waited on hand and foot and also being treated with class and importance. I can’t wait to see more pics from your Seychelles trip. These look incredible!
