¡Saludos desde Reunion Island! Para los que no saben esta pequeña isla del océano Indico es parte de Francia y está a solo 45 min de Mauritius.

Muchos de ustedes saben que estos últimos 4 meses he estado trabajando en un proyecto en África del este donde poco a poco he estado compartiéndoles en el blog y en mi Instagram.

Para serles sincera mi feed está un poco atrasado y va lentamente poniéndose al día. De hecho, estoy posteando 2 veces al día si no lo han notado a ver si logro ponerme al día con mi destino actual ajajaj

Desde que llegamos a Reunion hemos estado súper ocupados shooting y recorriendo cada rincón de esta isla ya que solo tenemos 7 días para explorarla y poder terminar todo antes de irnos a Mauritius por unos días y regresar a Kenia a otro proyecto.

Entre tantos proyectos la verdad muy poco me he tomado el tiempo de doll up. De hecho, la última vez fue en navidad ya que ni siquiera año nuevo que es una fecha donde todas nos ponemos lindas ya que estaba en medio de subir Kilimajaro. Una de las cosas que más extraño es literalmente tomarme el tiempo de dress up que era algo que hacia todos los fines de semana en Panamá con algún evento que tenía que asistir o cenar con mis amigas.

Cuando llegamos Reunion una de las cosas que queríamos hacer era simplemente sacar un día para tener una cena linda donde sacáramos el tiempo de vestirnos y disfrutar sobre todo porque el hotel se prestaba para dicho ambiente. LUX* Saint Gilles es un hotel súper clásico, con una arquitectura super linda, bien refinado en un ambiente tropical. Solo imagínense un Paris tropical ajjajaja

Desde que llegue al hotel sabía que era el momento perfecto para sacar mi outfit preferido que traía en mi maleta y que no había tenido la oportunidad de usar todavía: una falda al estilo sirena blanca de Fame and Partners, este multi  stripe top azul, mis perlas y mis tacones!

Siempre he amado invertir en piezas statement clásicas que me hacen sentir súper femenina como lo es esta falda al estilo sirena ya que también tiene ruffles que son mis preferidas sobretodo para usarlas en ambientes tropicales.

Invertir en piezas como esta falda blanca para mí es un básico en el armario de cualquier chica ya que no solo es una pieza clásica que puedes combinar de muchas maneras pero fácil te puede sacar de un apuro como para una boda tropical.

    I completely feel you on feeling like you don’t have a single moment to dress up when traveling! Especially more so when one has been traveling so extensively as you have been 🙂 I’m glad you took the conscious decision to dress up and enjoy a lovely evening as it’s equally important to simply and rest and relax. The look you chose is right up my alley- elegant and sophisticated while perfectly in theme with the island and resort. The wrap top is so versatile and chic, while the mermaid hem skirt is so special as well. The front slit is also a great detail! And you paired the look perfectly with pearls and heels. Glad you had a chance to dress up and relax!

    I would love to visit where you are! It sounds absolutely divine! Tropical Island and France mash up?! Count me in!     A tropical Paris? That sounds too good to be true, haha. But seriously it must have felt good to finally get some of the dust off and be able to dress up nicely for a change (not that you ever look anything else than nice, but you know what I mean). Posting twice a day? Jeez, that’s an insane rate, but at the same time, your experiences in Africa are a pleasure to read!
