For those who have been reading about my Thailand adventures, you probably know that my trip to this beautiful country was quite quick- \u00a02 weeks only. Yep, you guys read this right! I’m shock as you guys are because its incredible the amount of places we visited only in 2 weeks.<\/p>\n

So basically my friend Pilar Sinclair<\/a> and I were jumping from plane to plane and from place to place to be able to fulfil all the destinations in or schedule. Even with a tight schedule we were able to enjoy each of the places and take incredible memories with us. I’m sure this Thailand trip will be one of the best of 2017 and for sure of the best trips of our lives.<\/p>\n

Sadly today I\u2019m sharing the end of my last days in Bangkok. So after spending a few days in Chiang Mai we returned to the capital to take a few days off and prepare for our next trips. In my case I was going to fly to Europe and my friend Pilar will return to Panama, so we both had long distances flights.<\/p>\n

Pili and I were looking forward to really spend some easy and relaxing time in our last nights in Bangkok. We couldn\u2019t imagine a better way to do it than with the So Sofitel Bangkok<\/a> family.<\/p>\n

So Sofitel Bangko<\/a>k is located at 2 North Sathorn Road Street, which is one of the best views of all Bangkok that face the “Central Park” of Bangkok: Lumpini Park.<\/p>\n

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a beautiful, colourful and modern lobby which has a gorgeous designs and incredible views of the city. Believe me on this trip I have stopped several times in Bangkok and this hotel definitely has one of the best views of the city.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The thematic accommodation of the hotel is created around the five elements: water, earth, wood, metal and fire. A play inspired by the five best designers in Thailand and the world-famous fashion designer Monsieur Christian Lacroix.<\/p>\n

Each room was designed with each of these elements to provide a relaxation space of its own.<\/p>\n

Our room was the water element – sophistication and calm, where the elegance, the quiet and the mystical water is the first impression that the room gave us when entering. With a very modern design in white, gray, black marble tones that I really loved. The views of Bangkok’s skyline are truly amazing. It has floor to ceiling windows to be able to appreciate the beautiful views from the bed to the bathtub next to the window.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

During our stay in So Sofitel Bangkok<\/a> the weather was quite cloudy and rainy which made it perfect for us since we just wanted to relax. I don\u2019t know about you guys, but when it\u2019s raining or its cloudy for me is the perfect excuse to stay in bed or spend a day of relaxation with a delicious bubble bath and order room service.<\/p>\n

Either you order breakfast to your room or you go to the Red Oven restaurant where they served the buffet, both are completely delicious. So Sofitel Bangkok<\/a> definitely has one of the most amazing breakfast. I’m sure you guys have heard me say this before, but honestly every hotel gets better and better (I swear lol). What I liked the most about the breakfast buffet offered by the Red oven is the presentation of the buffet which is very photogenic, offers a great variation of things. From their own egg station, own bread stations, waffles, crepes, natural smoothies … Hmmm everything seriously is so yummy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Something you cannot miss from So Sofitel Bangkok<\/a> is its emblematic pool. Seriously one of the most photogenic pools overlooking the city I’ve seen. A great spot to relax and appreciate the beautiful views of the city for sunset drinks.<\/p>\n

My favorite spot in the entire hotel was his rooftop bar Hi-So on the 29th floor, which I seriously recommend to visit even if you are not staying at the hotel. Offers wonderful views of the Lumpini Park, it has a great atmosphere and serves delicious food. What made our rooftop experience more fun was talking with our waiter as he spoke spanish very well.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I want to thank the staff of So Sofitel Bangkok<\/a> staff for giving us a relaxing and memorable experience and the perfect ending of our Thailand adventures. We couldn\u2019t imagine a better way to close this chapter! Thank you!<\/p>\n
