Today I want to share with you guys one of my favorite safari experiences with Thanda Safari<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For many people, making a safari has always been on our bucket list, right? But what about a safari that is thought out in the best detail so you can capture your best moments? The truth is that I have been traveling in Africa for a year and I have never seen anything like this anywhere and it seems very unique and memorable if it’s your own first safari experience.<\/p>\n

Normally when you go on safari you share the car with other guests which is fun because it gives you the opportunity to meet people from other parts of the world. Most are always families or newlyweds. But if you are looking for a more private experience, what do you think of having your own private safari cart? Which is equipped so you can capture your best moments through the lens. I swear to you that I felt like I was at pimp your own safari car show or like I was in the first class of an airplane.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The car was thought out in detail so that photographers can capture their best memories. From large space so you can stretch your legs or put all your photography equipment, the floor of the car is padded to prevent any lens or photography equipment from breaking or you can easily bend down to take pictures and this is easy for your legs and knees. It also has arms so you can put your camera and go pro, it has wifi, it has gps, but the best thing of all is that it comes with its own bar and nespresso machine. I mean where have you been for the last year lol?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Something that also seemed very different to what other lodges offer is that\u00a0Thanda Safari<\/a>\u00a0has his own photographer base in the lodge called Christian Sperka\u00a0@christiansperkaphotogrpahy<\/a>,\u00a0, who gives photography courses to capture the wildlife. For me and for Robert this was really fun and interesting, it was amazing to learn the tricks and the work of others and it was an honor for us to be able to work with Christian during our stay as we were able to learn a lot from him. He even repair my camera which I was about to throw away lol. Thanks Christian for repairing this.<\/p>\n

Apart from these 2 great experiences something that I also enjoy a lot were the incredible villas. Thanda Safari Lodge<\/a> is part of Leading Hotels of the world and it offers only 9 beautiful suites – bush type villas, each of them independent to provide absolute privacy. These were designed and inspired in the form of a traditional house of the African tribe Zulu, the 220 m\u00b2 suites have panoramic views of the reserve.<\/p>\n

I swear to you that I had never stayed in such a large village. When I refer to large is that it has 6 stories from: the main room, the bathroom which has its internal and external shower plus a tub and a vanity table, a livingroom which comes equipped with a box of table games and a fireplace, the terrace which comes with a pool and chairs for sunbathing, and an outdoor bed to enjoy those afternoons of relaxation and a private boomer to have your dinners or lunch cooked by your own personal chef.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

To add to the list of unique experiences with Thanda<\/a>, Robert and I visited a Zulu traditional community and we were extremely lucky that they were having a traditional dance festival. So we were able to witness their dances which is pretty unique in how high they kick!<\/p>\n

To close my experience with Thanda Safari<\/a> on our last day we went on safari with Christian and had the opportunity to see a big pride of 8 lions – in a year traveling in Africa we had never seen a pride this big so it was pretty unique!\u00a0Thank you Thanda Safari<\/a> and Christian for making our safari experience with Thanda<\/a> more unique and unforgettable.<\/p>\n
