This time we went to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fregate.com\">Fregate Private Island<\/a> from the German hotel chain called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oetkercollection.com\/eng\/home\/\">Oetker Collection<\/a>.\u00a0This secluded paradise is 55 kilometers from Mahe. You can arrive by boat or by helicopter.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel itself took care of the transportation by private helicopter, which took about 15 minutes. I have to say that the trip was quite pleasant even though it was short. Seeing the turquoise waters from on high is quite an experience.\u00a0As we began to approach the beautiful jewel of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fregate.com\">Fregate Private Island<\/a> it was almost a clich\u00e9 moment that erased the line between reality and fantasy. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fregate.com\">Fregate<\/a> is very famous for being the sanctuary of many species of birds and for having one of the best beaches in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Upon landing we were greeted by our butler with 2 natural refreshing drinks, and we then took a short tour of the island by golf cart all the way to our private villa. On the way we could see many huge tortoise and beautiful types of birds.\u00a0We stayed in a villa with four rooms: a lobby, bedroom, a huge living room and a big terrace facing the sea with an infinity pool and jacuzzi. I remember when I entered the lobby for the first thing I noticed was a round table with fresh fruits and rich homemade sweets waiting for me hahaha (for those who know me something I can never say no to is to any type of fruit or any kind of sweet)<\/p>\n<p>The island has 16 private residences all made of Balau wood strands, outdoor showers and private buggies. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fregate.com\">Fregate Island<\/a> itself has so many activities in the surrounding nature that we really knew that getting bored was not an option. We are talking about the island with 7 private beaches, a yacht club, a PADI dive center, a tree house, many mountain trails with the best views of the island and of course the Rock Spa. From the first day Robert and I tried the Rock Spa where we did some indulgent massages to get a break from the first day.<\/p>\n<p>Every place where we ate our meals was different and totally private to us. Each meal was a unique experience thanks to our butler who made special adjustments in each place. At each meal we were always accompanied by the butler and our private chef who made these experiences exceptional. With the diversity in the menu each day we knew the food would be a delight for our palates.<\/p>\n<p>Some of my favorite moments certainly were breakfast in the tree house surrounded by sound of nature and visiting cute little birds. A BBQ dinner in front of the yacht club in a cute and comfy cottage with its terrace where the table was already set for dinner. I remember inside the cottage was a games room with fun table games, a pool table, a mini bar, flat screen TV, and everything that is necessary to fill your time. Another of my favorites was a delicious picnic in one of the most beautiful beaches of the world. For our last day I can\u2019t forget a beachfront dinner with a romantic setting of a path of candles and flowers, with the background sound of the sea, the beautiful moon and the unforgettable starry sky.<\/p>\n<p>Our butler really was exceptional and the one who made our stay at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fregate.com\">Fregate Private Island<\/a> unforgettable. I swear he was like Jenny the genie because everything we asked he make it happen lol.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you enjoyed this post and do not miss more pictures about my trip to<a
