Si, si y si!!! Es exactamente lo que pide mi cuerpo al saber que voy por sol, playa y arena 🙂
Que puedo decir soy latina así que amo la costa y sin duda era lo que mas esperaba de mi visita a Kenia después de hacer tantos increíbles safaris.
Como nuestro ultimo destino en Kenia visitamos la famosa playa Diani. Si, esta era mi primera vez en el océano indico así que ya se imaginaran mi emoción al poder sentir las increíbles y refrescantes aguas en mi cuerpo. Finalmente era hora de sacar mis bikinis de mi maleta que estaban enterrados en el fondo sobre muchos outfits de safari jajaja
Para llegar a Diani agarramos un vuelo de Safari Link que tomo alrededor de hora y media. Solo ver el mar desde la venta del avión me tenia súper emocionada y ansiosa por tocar la arena después de casi 3 meses. Desde que me baje del avión no se por que el olor al mar y el calor me recordó a mi bello Panamá ( cuando digo caliente es caliente!!)
Afrochic parte de la cadena Elewana Collection iba a hacer nuestra casa por estos días mientras visitábamos Diani. Desde el momento que entramos a la propiedad nos sentimos tan abrazados por el staff y ese ambiente de relajación que era lo que buscábamos. Afrochic es un hotel exclusivamente íntimo que cuenta con sólo 10 habitaciones que cuentan con sus propio baño y balcón con vista a la piscina y al mar de la propiedad. Es super agradable!
Con tantos hoteles de grandes cadenas alrededor, Afochic resalta con su estilo único y ecléctico en interiores y diseños hace un cambio refrescante de las alternativas estándar para aquellos que buscamos un servicio mas personalizado y privado.
Después de hacer tantos safaris la verdad algo que jamás me iba imaginar era ver camellos en la playa. Sin duda Kenia es un país súper afortunado al tener tanta belleza e increíble animales a su alrededor.
Uno de mis momentos Elewana favoritos sin duda fue el picnic en la playa y los paseos por camello. Si, también era mi primera paseo en camello así que fue algo que realmente disfrutamos. Nuestro plan durante nuestra estadía en Diani era poder visitar Mombaza y poder visitar los famosos mercados pero para poder ir teníamos que agarrar un ferry para poder cruzar hacia ese lado. Lamentablemente no pudimos por el trafico y por que también había una huelga que no había ferris en ese momento.
Sin embargo si alguno de ustedes llegan a visitar esta área ojalá puedan verlo ya que me encantaría saber de su experiencia al visitarlos.

These photos are so dreamy. I have a few friends from Kenya and 10 years ago, they described it to me, and I thought it would be so lovely to visit. I’ve been saving African and South America on the list for a lengthy trip. These make me want to visit immediately! It sounded like an amazing, memorable trip!

I will never grow tired of seeing these incredible places you visit. I must say that this looks like my favorite spot, since I’m a huge fan of the beach! The water is so blue and the sand is so bright! It looks refreshing, that’s for sure! Also loving your maxi romper (I have the same one hehe)!
