Tristemente hemos llegado al último destino que visitamos en Seychelles: el famoso La Digue.
Famoso porque acá es de donde salen todas las innumerables campañas de marketing de Seychelles. Si alguna vez has visto alguna campaña o panfleto de este paraíso créanme que fue tomada en este lugar.
Así que era más que obvio que no podíamos irnos de Seychelles sin visitar La Digue. A pesar que fue un poco difícil ya que todo estaba lleno el ministerio de turismo logro conseguirnos estadía en Le Relax Luxury Lodge que es un hotel relativamente nuevo en el área.
Cuando el helicóptero nos dejó en La Digue inmediatamente pude sentir un ambiente muy relajado que las otras islas principales. Estamos hablando de pocas carreteras pavimentadas y virtualmente ningún automóvil motorizado más que algunos taxis.
De hecho, el método de transporte principal en esta isla es la bicicleta (mis favoritas). Definitivamente es un lugar de regreso a la naturaleza que un paraíso de jet-set-turístico.
La playa más famosa de todas es Anse Source D’Argent la cual está dentro del parque. El agua es de turquesas cristalinas con un fondo de puras rocas que hacen un paisaje de película. De seguro ya han visto estas fotos miles de veces, pero de verdad es algo fuera de este mundo. Yo les recomendaría ir súper temprano ya que se llena muchísimo de turistas ya que es la playa más famosa del área.
A pesar que esta es la playa más popular mi favorita sin duda fue una menos turística que está en esta misma isla llamada Grand Anse. Es mi nueva playa favorita del mundo ya que de verdad es una de las playas más hermosas que he visitado en el mundo. El agua es perfecta en cuanto a su temperatura, los diferentes tonos de azul cristalinos, la arena súper suave sin ninguna roca en el mar más que en el fondo que puras rocas que parecieran metales como si hubiera sido un Photoshop, pero les juro que todo es real.
Esta está un poco más alejada que la otra y el camino en bicicleta es bastante largo y difícil sobre todo al regreso ya que hay una parte bastante empinada que literal tuve que bajarme de la bicicleta y caminar esa parte. A pesar que es un poco largo créanme que vale la pena 100% ir porque es de ensueño esta playa!
El hotel donde nos quedamos la verdad es bastante nuevo, pero tiene las habitaciones bastantes cómodas y espaciosas.
En esta vuelta no nos dio tiempo de hacer Praslin pero esto es una excusa para regresar!! De verdad que Seychelles es un país mágico que tendrá un lugar muy especial en mi corazón.

One of my best friends lives on the Seychelles and I’ve been looking for a reason to go visit her and this looks like my reason! It’s so beautiful and picturesque and I’m so in love with these photos! You two are a dream team!!

I think I would actually enjoy the bike path! As a fitness geek, I enjoy challenges and things that require my strength and stamina. I agree with Stephanie, this beach is beautiful. Just a day or two here and I would be fully refreshed!

Oh Marcy this place looks like a dream! It’s truly the perfect beach and destination to relax your troubles away. I’ve yet to experience a beach with crystal clear water to be honest, but then again i’ve haven’t really been to anywhere that’s known for their beautiful scenery and water views. I can’t believe in one of the photos you took of the rocks, for a second i thought it was a photo of a painting because the rock formation was so soft and had a really interesting rhythm to it.
What an amazing place to stay and vacation at, I truly hope you had an amazing time and experience Marcy, because it looks amazing. Something i have to put on my now bucket list!
