Before we leave to Monaco we stopped at the end of a peninsula overlooking the blue waters of the Mediterranean where one of the most legendary and chic places of the French Rivera is located, The Grand – Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel – An icon since the opening in 1908 between Nice and Monaco.

It is surrounded by 7 acres of landscaped gardens, modernized by the famous landscape artist Jean Mus. The Grand – Hotel du Cap-Ferrat is the true jewel of the South of France has seven hectares of land leading to the famous Club Dauphin for its Olympic-size pool facing the sea.

The interiors are elegant and sober, with cream marble, white and gold touch, decorated with beautiful antique chandeliers that secure the old glamor of southern France. The long windows around the hotel allow light to penetrate the large property that make it more appealing and cool to not want to leave!

To visit the famous Club Dauphin you have to go through several gardens of this amazing property that was one of my favorite spots. One was the pink trees garden that was in the back-yard of the hotel and my other favorite was the garden of pines that led you to 2 doors to take the cable car down to the restaurant area and pool .

Mediterranean cuisine in this part of France has been one of my favourite and definitely what gave us The Grand – Hotel did not disappoint. Everything is very rich and fresh from our entrees, natural juices, the main courses to dessert (sorry I’m juts having a big time flavor flashback by remembering how delicious it was). As for the service this was of excellent quality and always very aware of us.

Thank you very much for following reading me. Happy Thursday!

Love,
