Saint James Paris – Relais & Chateaux, France

How many of you have dreamed of being Carrie Bradshaw for a day? I’m sure every girl out there has dream to be in her shoes, right?

We’ll let me tell me that how I felt since the two gates of the iconic Saint James Paris property, which by the way is the only hotel with official castle status in Paris, opened the doors for us. Just steps from the Arc de Triumph is this beautiful and glamorous Relais Chateaux hotel in the heart of the city.

When Mayra and I entered this incredible property, we were surprised by its beautiful and majestic building that was surrounded by the most beautiful autumn gardens.

As we arrived we were received by their friendly staff who received us immediately in the lobby. Discovering the Saint James Paris lobby was like entering like an Alice Wonderland movie: an incredible glamour and elegance with beautiful furniture designs made for a royal family. What caught our attention was the most beautiful and refined chandeliers extend along the highest ceilings.

The lobby has a fascinating black and white design in a shape of a labyrinth that looks like the fantasy world which was the creation of Bambi Sloan’s maximalist designer. This presents an unimaginable mix of styles that make time and space an idea in your head.

The beautiful and glamorous Saint James Paris has around 49 rooms and suites. The doors of each suite / room are red where a different world is hidden in each.

We stayed in one of their deluxe suites that was incredibly huge. Our suite decoration was so gorgeous, classic in white, gold with blue colors with a Parisian charm and glamor. The views of the room were really amazing since we had a view of the gardens where the yellow autumnal trees pop out.

Everything from the bathroom, the tub, the back of the bed and the mirrors represented a glamor that made us feel at the scene of a Parisian romantic movie. The Saint James Paris team left us a delicious and nice detail in the living room of our room that was a tray of chocolates and champagne to enjoy our last day in the city of love.

So, Mayra and me immediately tasted those delicious chocolates and made a toast with 2 sparkling champagne glasses for an incredible Europe trip and our last night in Paris. So here comes the fun part after drinking the champagne we put some music on and started playing with been Carrie Bradshaw in Paris using this magnificent beautiful hotel design as a backdrop.

Just looking at the pictures it’s amazing how every corner of beautiful Saint James projects a glamour, an infinite elegance. One of my favourite places is undoubtedly the black and red circular staircase where a beautiful air balloon wallpaper extends into a wall.

After finishing our Carrie Bradshaw adventure, Mayra and I decided to go for a walk around the Eiffel Tower one last time before leaving and enjoy our last night in Paris.

Then we went to have dinner with some friends from Paris who took us to a delicious Thai restaurant. I’m probably sure if you love Thai food you have heard about this restaurant before because it’s from a famous chain: The Blue Elephant. Definitely a must!

To end the night we went to a very famous club called Titty Twister. (I swear that’s the name lol). But without judging the name the place is really super fun. Neon signs with funny phrases everywhere, pop / urban music and a bar on fire. No for real it was lit on fire look at the picture lol!! That’s where we order all the Moscow mules of the night. I really couldn’t imagine to end my last night in Paris so well.

I want to thank all the staff of Saint James Paris for their incredible attention during our stay and my friend Julien for helping us and trying so hard to show us the best of Paris. We really had a blast!

As for you Paris, I hope to see you again soon!

Love

Marcy
