A little piece of heaven – The Vijitt Resort Phuket, Thailand

Today I’m sharing my second destination in Phuket which is further to the South in the celestial corner, The Vijitt Resort Phuket.

Located on a fairly quiet beach, away from the bustling crowd of tourists, this luxurious villa resort in Phuket offers a rejuvenating refuge that exudes Thai charm. The exquisite location offers open spaces with palm trees and lush green gardens that open onto the Andaman Sea.

The beach at Chalong Bay overlooks a myriad of offshore islands that offer an impressive backdrop to enjoy five-star services in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Vijiitt Resort has 92 elegant villas located along the beautiful beach and between the lush gardens and lagoon, all with wonderful views of the blue sea. The simple and elegant design style is inspired by nature with many ecological elements and local materials that have a rich character that is undoubtedly Thai.

Our villa was at a perfect height to enjoy the view from the sea that had wall windows that expose the glorious tropical views. It had a very spacious balcony, a huge bathroom with an outdoor shower and a bathtub with a spectacular view of the sea. Our villa was conveniently positioned to stay close to the main restaurant, since we are 10 steps away from it.

Breakfasts was taken at the Souvory restaurant overlooking the sea which is located next to the huge infinity edge pool. I remember that after having breakfast, my friend, Pilar and I, walked to the beach for some relaxation and found the perfect place and probably my favourite spot in the whole hotel: a hammock facing the sea. I think all hotels overlooking the beach need to make a hammock law. Don’t you guys think? This was the perfect spot after a delicious breakfast.

After enjoying some time in the sun, we returned to the room we came across a beautiful surprise that The Vijitt Resort team made for us, which was a path of rose petals that led us to the bathroom bath tub that was full of water with a huge heart made of rose petals and a bottle of champagne. I think all the gentleman reading at this post need to take notes if you really  want to surprise a girl this is one of the many ways you can do it hahaha

It was definitely the best way to end our day and enjoy a nice bath of roses with one of my best friend Pilar.

The next day we woke up early around 6am to enjoy a visit to Phi Phi Island which is one of the tours that The Vijjtt Resort offers. It was many of the things we wanted to do in Phuket despite our tight schedule we organised everything so we could go. We knew that being at The Vijitt Resort this was our best chance to do it.  Not to mention the day we went was completely sunshine = perfect for pictures 🙂

If any of you are in Phuket and want to go to Phi Phi Island this is going to take you all day and the tour is worth around $100 dollars which includes a very delicious Thai lunch. The tour also includes snorkelling and several stops on different islands between Phi Phi Islands like The Monkey’s Beach and where they filmed the movie The Beach by Leonardo DiCaprio. Undoubtedly this tours was something that Pili and I do not regret having done.

Many thanks to The Vijitt Resort for such an amazing experience and making our time in Phuket more special.

Love,

Marcy

The photos of the sunset at Vijitt resort look so beautiful! How lavish they prepared a bath of rose petals for you, what a dream! And the water around the resort looks so clean – I feel like it’s so rare to come across places like that! Luck you!
